Enclosure is an unprecedented video installation, presented on a specially designed holographic screen, and created by American artist Rachel Rose. Enclosure is immersed in a supernatural atmosphere that was inspired by the perception of nature of the 17th century British agrarian world. This immersive work recalls the origins of the economic, environmental, social and radical transformation which has grown since then.
Exhibited in LUMA in 2019, Enclosure was also exhibited in 2020 at the Park Avenue Armory in New York.
The exhibition is supported by Parfums Christian Dior.
Enclosure is co-commissioned by LUMA Foundation and Park Avenue Armory, New York.
