On a beach in Zeeland at dawn, Filip van Dingenen and Ellen Schoenmakers go to meet algae on the shore, which reveals themselves to humans at low tide. The algae, cradled by the North Sea, speak of the place as much as the people. You have to get to know them and respect them. The meeting cannot last forever, as the sun is already rising and the tide is coming in.
